The Zimbabwe Investor Confidence Index will provide a comparative and data-driven assessment of Zimbabwe’s investment climate against regional peers, focusing on key drivers such as macroeconomic stability, policy consistency, ease of doing business, access to foreign currency, and the cost of capital. The Index will evaluate structural constraints, including infrastructure, taxation, governance, and investment security, while also assessing sector-specific opportunities in mining, agriculture, manufacturing, and energy, supported by investor sentiment and FDI trends. The report will identify competitiveness gaps and priority reform areas and will ultimately culminate in the development of a composite Zimbabwe Investor Confidence Index, which will serve as a benchmark tool 3 December 2026 to guide policymakers, monitor track progress, and strengthen Zimbabwe’s positioning as an attractive and credible investment destination for investors.
